Not sure if this has been brought up before, or if it is just too hard to implement, but what if the Classifieds section had something like what ebay has, where you can get notified via email when certain items pop up for sale?
It would also work nicely for anyone trying to sell stuff as well. They can be notified when people have WTB threads with the specific keyword in the thread title.
In order to eliminate all unnecessary notifications, set the rules to thread title notifications only, instead of posts.
I'm sure someone will say something like, "use the search feature," or "stop being lazy," but aren't we supposed to improve as a race at some point? lolol. This could really be a nice feature for people who have real jobs and lives, but still want to participate in the trading and selling aspect of this website. Because lets be honest, 80% of the active people here use the classifieds more then the regular boards lol.
