Hey guys,

I play for the band Rivers of Nihil and I have been a Carvin artist for the last 18 months. Jeff cooked up a really sick guitar for me this time around! I wanted a guitar that was super solid and wouldn't change depending on the climate, so the ebony board and maple neck and body were no brainers. We tune all the way down to drop F# and this guitar handles it incredibly well.

That is gorgeous! Exactly the finish I'm getting once I've saved up enough to get my Vader. Glad to see it looks so good :agreed:

BEAUTIFUL axe dude! I'm completely in love with my Vaders. Also, I've been cranking "Monarchy" in regular rotation for the past few weeks, and you guys really KILLED it on the new album. One of my favorite death metal records in a while. Congrats on the awesome guitar, and the splendiferously brutal album!

Also: Sand Baptism is just badass!

Awesome Kiesel Brody! You do excellent work in RoN, so I'm sure this guitar will be put to good use. :hbang:

Would probably of gone with maple over ebony if you were looking for something "climate proof", but the dark fretboard really makes the faux binding pop. :yesway:

Yeah I have two DC7x's one with a "Kiesel Treated" maple board and one with the ebony board. I have had frets shift and get sharp on my maple board several times over the last 12 months of owning it while never having any issues with my ebony board. It was just a no brainer for me since we go from tropical to sub zero temps.

Nice finish on that one. Never been a big fan of headless guitars, but all these Vader's popping up lately are helping change my opinion. Excellent work on the new album too man!

Brody! Love your band bro! The top on this Vader is delicious!

How would you describe the neck profile on the vader and dc7x you play? How would you compare them to the RGD2127z you used to play? I want to hop on the Kiesel bandwagon but I don't like overly chunky necks. That's the only thing holding me back from a DC7X.

Cheers!

Hey man! The neck on the Vaders is a little different than both the RGD and the DC7x guitars. If there is any neck profile I would compare it to it would be that of a PRS. Its not as thin as say and EBMM, but not as round as a Les Paul. Its very cozy for me and I have pretty big hands.

Gorgeous guitar Brody! I hope to see it one tour maybe? And like everyone else here says: Monarchy is a hell of an album. Outstanding work. I'm guessing the Carvins are all over it which is cool to hear. Cheers and HNGD!

The whole album was recorded with my Spalted Maple DC7x loaded with Kiesel Lithiums!
