 what model will this be? A Sanders V?

I guess I should've put that in the first post:nuts: It's going to be a 7DC. I do want a Sanders V though.

Edit: I put it in the OP :yesway:

very cool. :yesway:

Rob's got lots of wood for my 7DC too... I think he's going to have some very sexy guitars coming out of his shop in the future :D

Mother of god... My vote goes for the PME bobbins. I can't get over that mahogany and fretboard.

Loving the wood bobbins! How hard is it to make those? I'm having a custom set of pickups made and they guy making them said he won't do the wood bobbins because they're too hard to make without breaking. But seems like a lot of others are making them?

It looks like it would be tricky. They're pretty dang thin. Maybe Rob has some special meat slicer set up for wood:lol:

I know it's not easy, but Rob seems to have a knack for dealing with fine cuts on delicate or small pieces of wood. I still can't believe the scales he did for the chests of the snakes on the back of my guitar.

I mean seriously, the little bit of wood sitting on the pick is an inlay piece

Looks like there are going to be some really sweet 7DCs coming out of the shop :yesway: Love the wood choices on this one and Eric's.

I'm working on an idea for another 7DC as well :D

So that's the wood piece you were talking about! I remember seeing that picture in another thread and wondering what the hell you were talking about, thought you meant the letters were made out of wood.
That is really impressive though, pretty soon he's gonna be making statues that fit in the little hole on a needle.

Update time!:yesway:

It is almost finished! I knew it would look really good. But it's even better than I had anticipated!

I had to make a decision on which pickup tops I wanted. It wasn't easy:lol: but...

Here's what I decided to go with.

And here were my other options. They all look pretty dang sweet.

I almost went with the straight bubinga tops to really make the fretboard pop. But the way the grain on the PME tops flows is just too cool.

I don't know who did it(but I'm guessing elq?), but someone added a tag "techno is a bad influence". So true:lol:
