I'm sending out the final payment today, so hopefully it will be in sometime next week. Like, before our gig next Saturday! :shred:

I'm really excited, it looks even more wicked than I imagined it, and I bet it plas and sounds killer. It will be nice to finally have a seven with an ebony fretboard, the feature I missed most when I made the jump from sixes.

Plus, I've been needing something that doesn't look plain next to Mike's Jackson CS!

Nice man. Beautiful guitar, have fun with it. Let us all know how it plays and how you like it, etc. The only thing I don't like (nitpicking) is the unfinished neck. I like how those play more, but it looks like an eyesore given how nice the rest of the finish is.

Very nice! :metal: I like the shape of the KXK V7, but if was ordering from them I'd want a 25.5" scale version of the Nile guy's signature model.

Let us know how it plays and sounds.

Noodles....looks great man! What is that little square backplate for though?

I think it is an access cover to reach the wires that run from the main cavity to the input jack. He removes so little wood for a main cavity, that must be the only way to work the wire into place. Or maybe he needed it to get the wire tunnel drilled at the right angle, since the neckthru blanks he uses are so wide (full width of the hardware). I'll ask him.

Someone here has one, but in 27". I don't think he hangs out here regularly, but his page is here. I'm with you on scale lengths, which is why mine is 25.5". I like the Karl Sanders guitar, but it is waaaaaay to long for me. I'm just a little dude.

I'm with you on that, but I lean more towards the playing comfort side than you do. I think his way is a nice compromise, since the whole headstock area is still painted. You never really see the back of the neck from the crowd.

Congrats Noodles! May I be so rude to ask what the ballpark $$ figure is on a custom such as this from KXK?

Damn, Noodles, you've got your very own signature model now. Can I have your autograph? :)

That thing is freakin' sweet, man. The lack of an option for an angled neck is the only thing that's keeping me from placing an order ASAP.

No. He's not allowed to sign anything other than checks until he's actually been on an album. It cuts down on the confusion. ;)
