Like I said, I have the Omen 8 which is basswood and it has a rosewood fretboard. Soo, for me, its a good djenty sound. But I'm thinking with the 500k pots, it'd might give me a high treble sound such as the tone of Vildhjarta. Soo, I'm kinda looking for that kinda tone, with a mix of Tosins tone. Soo I could try the 500k pots and if they're not to my liking, ill just go with 250k pots.

Pots aren't going to affect your tone that much - just a bit more treble or less treble. The main thing is your amp, technique, pickup and speakers... oh and your fingers

Yeah I understand. I was thinking about getting a Randall rx120hr halfstack and then getting a pod x3 live to adjust the tone a bit. Or maybe even sn equslizer pedal? Also, my technique and fingering are good. Ive been playing progressive metal and such since I was just a child. So, that's all good, I just need new pickups and a new amp.
