Late NGD, Shamray RGA8

[Rorschach]

So, I´ve had it for 2 months now. And I´m very happy with how it turned out.
The build quality is faultless. Have to adjust the action though, as it´s too high, even for me. Some buzz on the F needs to be sorted out too.
The neck is by far the best I´ve ever played.I´m so glad I went for a satin finish.
The acoustic sound and the sustain is just epic.
The 808´s are ok, nothing more. Will do for now.
Had planned to post a bunch of pics but they turned out like crap, these two were the only one´s worth posting.

Yeah, it´s trans black with black binding.

you should have gone with other pickups for a custom though
seeing that you don't like the 808's there...
but you have other options, and the guitar absolutely slays

Yeah, maybe... I´ve been using 707´s in 7-stringers for years, and I like those a lot, so I kinda knew what to expect. Even though there´s quite a difference between the 808 and 707.
We´ll see, I might swap them for something else later on.
Right now I´m more focused on finding the right gauges , and getting the action right.
