What is your thoughts on the VHII? Considering getting one.

All the BKP's I've tried have been from the contemporary line of pickups.

I play a fairly broad range of stuff so it's helpful having something that isn't screechy screamy. It's definitely got a good warmth to it, but it's not overbearing (and I prefer that given this is quite a bright guitar). It blends well with the HD as well (I have them set up as two individual volume pots and a tone, so blending is fairly easy). Quite happy with it all up.

The VHii is probably everything you would want in a neck pickup. Warm, defined, not muddy, splits beautifully.

Hows the holy diver though? I have an alnico nailbomb and to me its just too bright with too much high mids and quite a "dry" character.
