Hello

Currently I'm the only guitar player in the band and I often have to switch between lead and rhythm. Right now I'm doing it with a cheap effects processor put into clean channel of the amp. I have effects (distortion, delay, etc) for both roles and use a footswitch on the processor.

But our new rehearsal place has high-end tube amps, and using cheap digital effects with them would be a waste.

So I'm interested in what equipment do I need to set and switch presets, while using distorted channel of the amp.

Thanks in advance.

If you get a 3 channel amp... Clean/Crunch/HighGain will do you good, unless you also want to change FX in use... Then a loop switcher might be handy, along with your favorite FX pedals... You you'll go this route, search for one with relays for amp channel switching.
