Hi! I'm a pretty small dude (5'4, 115lbs)** and I play bass. A couple of my basses (4 string LTD Phoenix and 4 string EBMM Stingray) have DiMarzio ClipLocks, and for the most part I've been content enough with them. However, even with the straps adjusted to their shortest, the basses end up a below my abdomen.
I'm looking for a strap for one bass in particular. My Ibanez BTB675M. The BTB is a little heavier than my 'Ray, so I'm looking for a strap wide enough to help with weight / back pain, and short enough so I can have it resting around my mid/upper abdomen. Hopefully the axe's giant horn doesn't dig into my chest and kill me during a set lol (I'll be getting a Bongo 5 soon enough). I'd prefer something not leather, but all suggestions are welcome.
Thank you in advance!

**my penis, however, is still rather large

Good wide padded straps. They are available in different lengths as well.
I have one and find it helps tremendously with heavy guitars/basses.

In the late 90's a friend had a wide strap with an air pump on it.
It inflated very much the same as the old Pump Shoes. It fills an air bladder within the strap as extra cushion.
I couldn't find any links/pics of it.

Edit: Found this as well...
