Thing is, they should be affordable for my poor student-wallet. Besides, I'd also like to know whether you guys know of any monitors that work well both for mixing AND enjoying music.

I know monitors exist to point out flaws in a mix, but I'd like a good middle-ground between that. Any chance at all?

Cheers and thanks in advance.

Hey,

A good mix will always shine on any monitor, that's what makes it a good-un!

I would just concentrate on getting good monitors - what's your rough budget?

Let's say 300€ maybe? I know it's a tight-ass budget, but more would be really difficult. 300 is already pushing it.

I'm not sure if they can ship to Europe with in your budget but I would recommend a pair of Equator D5's. Tannoy Reveal 501a's would also be a good option.
