Mainly looking to upgradem y aging Peavey amp, but since this might be used for the occasional drunken jam session I'll need a mic plug as well as I don't have a PA.

Does anything like that exist?

I know I can get a PA speaker but then that won't have the fancy bass eq options, etc.

So for under $1000 something that is not too heavy and sounds good.

Right now looking at Eden, Mark Bass, TC but I don't think any of these have the extra input.

I'm really considering getting a QSC K12.2 and running a modeler/preamp into it. The K2 series has a mic in and as well as a second input, I'm pretty sure.

I had a Mark Bass Mini CMD for years, and it did have an extra mic input. I remember reading you could plug a mic in the same time as having a bass in the regular input, but I never did it. What I have done is used a cheapy 600 watt Harbinger Vari V2212 powered PA speaker as a bass amp. OTOH If $1000 is your total budget, probably you could get both a decent powered PA speaker and Bass amp for that.
