Not if he wants to learn more music that is in the same tuning as he is. Gives you more scope for what can be done.

Although not heavy, nor difficult;Grand Magus is hella fun to play! :agreed:

Also most Boris songs are in drop Bb which is the dropped tuning of C standard. My main guitar that I practice on is kept in C standard/drop Bb so I will be monitoring this thread! Idk about OP but I sure wouldn't mind having listed any drop Bb/A# bands along with the C standards!!

Forgot behemoth! And suffocation is actually in c# as well, I believe there 1st record was in c. As far as looking for bands in C I just like to discover music in tunings I'm interested at the time to see how that player makes use of that tuning and what you can do with it. I tune all over the place but little things like that always interest me. Like to keep my horizons open!

I'm pretty sure NAILS is C standard.
