Mabolo Ebony

It should be spelled Mabolo, I cant change the title now.
Picked a really old board of this up on ebay and managed to get at least 2 fret- boards out of it but I cant find any info or pics of it on guitars.
Its found only in the Philippines.
Its got a stunning figure so this will prob go on some fanned stuff I've been toying with.

i have a lot of those in my stash, philippines has around 3-4 species of ebony, mabolo is actually a fruit bearing tree,

the one's ive seen here are the ff: striped maccasar, the one they call Tiger which looks like whitish/pale brown variety, the one they call "lumot" its black with greenish streak more like malaysian blackwood looking, and the all black ebony kinda like gabon, will try to check my stash and take pics and post it here

if anybody can figure out the shipping of these woods id be more than willing to help, it cost around $7usd per bft were im from, as soon as i check my stash ill post some pics i hope hope ill remember

on a side note a friend of mine have some quilted mabolo billets ill take a snap at it and post it here

I love this stuff - it looks like an incoming storm .

That wood looks really nice! How about the hardness of that stuff btw? Is it similar to common ebony (gabon/macassar)?
