So what is the go-to solid state power amp these days?

I'm partial to PA poweramps for modellers: clean, no coloration, and generally tons of headroom. My Crown XLS sounds amazing with my Stomp.

The Powerstages are nice, but I feel like you're paying a huge premium for the form factor and handful of added features that I can live without out. I'm partial to cheap class D Hifi amps when I need portability. Similar sound to a Powerstage at a fraction of the cost.
