I love Devin's attitude toward technical playing. Whether subconsciously or not he always seems to implement that element with no ego whatsoever, and almost makes a mockery of the "Hey, guys look at me! I'm such a badass!" types. Love it.

I might get some flak for this, but I doubt that will be going down as one of Devin's more memborable compositions.
It's just a bunch of his songs linked together with some jerking, he probably put it together just to take the piss.

It says a lot about those EMGs still sounding metal on a hollow body :)

Well, it's called Willy WANKa... I wouldn't expect it to be anything but ;)

It's essentially my least favorite parts of any Devin songs strung together in one go. Funny how that works.
Nonetheless Devin is a baller, that guitar is hot and his tone is ridiculous.

Don't get why people think hollowbodies/semihollows can't do metal ? lol

Well, historically with very loud stage volume those guitars were prone to feeedback and borderline incontrollable. With modern equipment and people using in ears and stuff, PA progress, high gain amps and overall stage volume being much lower, they become usable again. Just don't try to play one withing 5 meters of a plexi full stack at full volume, which was the standard in the 70es - early 80es.
