Question for people that know the tech more than I do.

How can you make a simple midi output from guitar pro sound more realistic?
I am aiming to get a quality good enough for a backing track (bass). I have seen talk on mini simulators-editors, but never a good explanation on on what they are and how to use them.

Any advice would be really great. :)

i wouldnt use guitar pro. i'd export the bass line as midi, and load into reaper, or other actual DAW, and use that to generate a decent bass sound. something like native instruments kore player might have some bass samples if you cant find something.

Oh. I meant a backing track without bass (or for me to play bass with).
I'm doing a bass recital where I have to have a backing track, but it can't sound poorly done, like a guitar pro export.
I was wondering if there was a way to take a midi file that I exported from guitar pro and make it sound a little better.
I also, don't know what reaper or a DAW is. :(
