Miracles do happen...new Universe!!!

So I was scanning ze list of craig a few weekends back and found an ibanez universe for 600. Long story short I picked it up and cleaned it all up. It was missing a trem arm and a case, but luckily i had both just lying around my house. I still am in shock at how amazing this guitar is and how much of a deal I got for it.

The local GC i go to had one of these used once, I got to play it for a good 20mins. Gotta say those necks are just soo nice and smooth. Very easy and fun to play on. Congrats man!

Wouldn't that be something? Still the build quality on those things is amazing? Just wished Vai would consider revisiting the 7s!

Thanks guys, and yeah agreed, a new universe model would be something. This one though is still pretty damn awesome. I do miss the neon green and pink finishes from the days of old. Hopefully they'll bring those colors back. Or even crazier, actual flamed or quilted maple tops on them. If only.

If so I was sooo tempted to jump on that, but I just picked up a 7620, so I really couldn't.

Yeah musikizlife I picked it up on that listing. Actually the hairline crack is just in the finish. A few dents here and there, but nothing to sway my judgement on getting it lol

The current UV is damn awesome though. I still really like them. Would just be nice to have a couple o' other finish options. Flamed maple would be the shizzle!
