Some guy on craigslist just sold an Engl Special Edition E670 that looked almost brand new for $700. I called one day too late.:wallbash:

What made him decide to give a $2300 discount is beyond me...

anyone want to console me with another tube head heavily discounted

yeah, there might have been problems with it, but I called as soon as I saw it. shame is with that kinda deal I could have afforded to fix it and still had some left over.

Didn't that get posted here? I think there was some debate about a 6 or 700 buck special edition being so cheap.

I think the consensus was theft haha.

It's also worth keeping in mind that cocaine is a hell of a drug.

I think possession of stolen goods is a crime regardless of how you get it. If it wasn't, you could just steal something and if you get caught say you bought it off some guy

I dunno for sure though.

If your in possession and they find out you end up having to return it and get dicked for your money.

Is just not good practice.

:agreed:
It varies state to state, though. Check your state laws, forewarned is forearmed.

Yeah I'm not planning on buying stolen goods but, hey with private sales that look like that good of a deal. I guess you never know.

am i at fault if i buy stolen goods without knowing they are stolen? haha

The whole "too good to be true" thing comes into play in situations like this. I think a $4000 head in apparently brand new condition going for $700 is enough to warrant some suspicion on your part.
