Don't judge me musically for this, SSO. this is just a simple tone/mix test

The first track here is just me recording my RG --> Pod XT straight into Reaper, no plugins or anything, with GP6 drums. Everything is pretty much done in as few takes as possible due to extreme laziness.

it's a good start, and it didn't take that much work to get there, so it'll be a neat learning experience

it's always nice to have a nice sounding mix when you're writing and recording, as it really helps you feel like you're making something-
