So, I was wondering what you guys think are some of the most impressive first ever tracks? By first ever track I mean Track 1 on a band's first studio album. :metal: Short instrumental 'Intros' don't have to count, in that case go to Track 2.

For me, I really like Hit The Lights by Metallica, it's one of my favourite 'tallica songs :)

Also;

Pillars of Serpents - Trivium
Deadnight Warrior - Children of Bodom
Black Label - the first track heard under the name 'Lamb of God' :)

For me it is "Blind" by Korn :hbang:
Heaviest and angriest song I've ever heard back then.
Awesome live song, too. You know shit's gonna get crazy when you hear that intro-riff :yesway:

Excuse the shithouse youtube quality... There are probably a few more, but for a debut album and debut track, that's pretty high in my books.

Actually this is another standout from a debut;

Excuse the fact that the band look like a massive group of douchebags :lol:
