believe it or not, i was thinking the same thing, but thought the appearance might make some people dizzy. It definately looks 100x better with the white x2n, though....

you know, the more i look at it, the more i like the cream x2n, and i'd be tempted to get another cream x2n for the neck spot...

Ok, I'm going to have to post pics of my POS Epi LP with mirrored pickgaurd so you can see just how bad mirrored can look! hang on...

My POS Epi LP w/ bad color combo

Notice the jackplate I never finished screwing in?

I made all of those mod's when I was about 14 or 15. It was my second electric guitar ever and came stock with cream plastic knobs, pickguard, pickup rings, blah blah blah.

I swapped out the cream stuff for what you see there, and but grovers on 'er. The thing looked so ugly, I had to find the most obnoxious strap to slap on it.

Looks cool. 2 things i would have changed:
1)Filled in the neck pickupslot before painting
2)Made the white parts go onto the sides as well.

Otherwise, i think it looks pretty damn solid.

oh, come on...there are thousands of things you can say about that guitar.

none of them are good

last year i almost routed it out for sympathetic strings. in 1996, i almost sprung for EMG's. now i'm glad i never did. i should have never bought that thing.

i did it like i did on purpose, because with Rhoads V's, its so damn popular to do the bevels, and i think its way overdone, so i decided not to even touch them. i also didn't really want to fill in the neck pickup, i don't mind having one on my Rhoads V, it comes in handy with the jazz stuff i've been learning lately, the PAF reissue there is a great pickup for that kind of tone, hate it for everything else lol
