...And it's Francesco Fareri's ex-guitar. I was looking for a sevenstring and I wanted a maple fingerboarded guitar. So I bought this, though first I didn't even know it was FF's guitar =)

Thanks!

I swirled the pickguard last weekend. I really like the guitar.

Next mods will be:
- Repainting the headstock and putting an Ibanez logo on it
- Scalloping the frets 21-24 (Jem style)
- Blue knobs and pup switch + blue Clip-Lok strap

Guess I will leave EMG 707's there. I'm starting to like the way they sound.

Recorded a song with this guitar last weekend, too.

All the leads are with this 7620. Backing was recorded with Jem77FP. The first solo's missing, though.

That song sounds great! Really digging that rhythm tone, as well as the leads.:yesway: :hbang:

How would you go about putting on a pickguard without screwing it into the body? gluing it?

Thanks for all the comments!

I haven't had much time to play lately, but I really like playing this guitar. The unplugged sound ain't nothing compared to my good old Jem 77FP, though.

Someday I'll do the rest of the mods.

Still my wet dream is to do a new neck for the guitar. Ordering from a luthier, I mean. But so far I'm really happy with this one!

Beautiful line-up. Love em.

Funny, though, that the Jem is the only "normal" guitar I have. The rest are modded and redone in one way or another.

I just like to have the kind of guitar that you will never see another one that looks the same. And a pleasant bonus is the fact, that they do play and sound real good to my ears :)
