Im gonna re record it tonight, get some consistent levels.

Not bad for someone who doesn't know a single scale i guess...

Thank you, good ol Engl e530

Not sure if the bass track is present enough though, you hear it buried in there?

I'm listening on laptop speakers at the moment so bass is out of the Q. The guitars have a smooth attack from what i'm hearing. I always have a prob of wanting to put to much emphasis on my 1-3khz.

I just make a couple small cuts at 350hz and 3800, dont boost anything.

When i first got this thing i was boosting alot between 2-3k, then i realized it was adding way to much fuzz.

I found that on these impulses you cant cut the fizz greatly at 3800khz.

The rhythm tones sound good man. I might be wrong, but it kind of seems like you need a tad less delay/reverb on the solo. It's kind of getting muddied up, unless that's what you want. Either that, or it sounds kind of harsh... I dunno, I can't pinpoint it sorry :/

Oh, and to your question about the bass, I can hear it if I listen for it :)

Cool thanks for the bass tip.

Ya i spent zero time on that solo, im gonna redo it right now.

I have yet to tweak a lead tone on my new rig... all that is is the same rhythm tone with some muddy delay,.

Were you playing that lead from the bridge or neck pickup? Cuz it sounds like it needs a nice smooooooth neck pickup sound w/ just a little bit of delay and it'll sound better.

My guitar only has a bridge pickup lol.

A swore i would never need a neck pickup again but a neck tone would work well with this particular old schoolish sounding riff.

Re did with contour switch on this time. Sounds a little more neckish...
