You can't start a thread like this and not expect stuff like this to come up in the ensuing discussion. Homosexuals have been heavily persecuted in Europe since Christianity became the dominant religion. There is now an entrenched mindset that is hard to overcome, and an understanding of history is always the best argument in these types of discussions.

For example, it is pretty much common knowledge that the founding fathers of the US Constitution draw much of their inspiration from the Roman Republic. Therefore, I find it cruelly ironic that the US has become so well known for their religious intolerance of something that was considered common practice in Rome. A teenage boy wishing to make a name for himself was often taken under wing as a student and lover of a Senator.

The same was in Japan all through their feudal ages and prior to that... Homosexualality has been more common place/prevalent in the history of this worlds society than a lot of aspects of society and for some reason now is looked at a bad or taboo thing. I have nothing against, am not homosexual in the slightest but understand its roots and beginnings. Before it used to be accepted and fine to a extent but not its "evil and wrong" and for some reason makes me think that fuels the homosexual movements of the worlds societies today.

Maybe, just maybe, he is a gay Teletubbie introduced to help the next generation be more open and accepting of people who are different to them and try to put an end to all the bullshit that goes on now? My fiancee's brother is gay. He's also one of the nicest blokes I've ever met. So he likes to sleep with men, does it really affect me? Of course it doesn't. He didn't choose to be gay, he just is. I can't believe people take things like this so seriously... Is there really nothing more important going on in the world? I'm pretty positive that even the pope loves lesbians. Jerry Falwell probably died of a heart attack while watching lesbian porn. If more people watched lesbian porn, we'd have far fewer wars. I can just imagine Bin Laden watching a video that starts with, "I'm having a hard time finding a burka that fits. Could you assist me?"

Actually most lesbians are actually bi-sexual and claim to be lesbian most of the time just as a way to turn guys they dont want to be with easily.
