Looks awesome. Nothing like pointy logo Peavey I wish my Cirrus had it.

I heard a cranked XXX live years ago. It sounded terrible but probably more the fault of homie because he was using it with a matching XXX full stack.

Yup, those Sheffield speakers sound like wet farts.

Such a good amp. Peavey was so thoughtful to call it the XXX and put the porno graphics on it so that the price on the used market remains forever low. Super cool of them to do that!

I wish it was forever low. There's one near me I'd love to have but they want $750. Even if they took a little less that's still too much for me just to add it to all my other amps. Dammit.

Wow, that aesthetic is so white trash!

I know the triple x can sound pretty good but.. damn.. that's like the cheap strip club type of motif happening there; like the strip club next to the truck stop on the outskirts of town type of thing.

On a related note, a sushi bar that I used to visit was right next to a gentlemen's club. Many inappropriate jokes followed every lunch at that unfortunate location.

Do you know how incredibly stupid I feel right now?

Don't feel dumb just flip it and get some new pics. I only know cause I remember reading about it in a Guitar World review forever ago. It gets mentioned once and a while on here but glad I actually got to pass on the info to someone who can benefit.

I thought graphics were great I think just the cabs/Sheff's tarnished its rep as a good sounding amp.

I love how everyone is so obsessed about something that you can only see at like <1m distance. I mean, I didn't even know the faceplate pattern were girls until someone mentioned it here. And I had seen that amp a million times before

Even if they were boobs or dicks I still wouldn't give a damn.

So to be clear the stripper mud flap chick thing is tacky but that is not what bothers me most about the appearance of this amp. I have Hanneman guitars with nazi shit as inlays....my tolerance for tacky is high. What I can't stand is the knobs. They are weird and ugly as shit and they are unlike anything I have ever seen on another amp. Why are they ribbed? Why do they age horribly?

Seriously look at their design. They look like they are meant for someone who is anally curious but the size of everything else in the shoppe is too intimidating for a first timer. And you can't tell me it helps with grip. I own a lot of amps with traditional knobs and I've never once reached to adjust the controls and thought "that was a lot more slippery than I expected. Let me try that one more time. Nope. Damn. Sorry folks...tour's on hiatus until the world builds a better amp knob....hopefully one that looks like a tiny sex toy."

It’s wild to me how Peavey went from a company that had church PA’s as their bread and butter to putting mud flap girls on an amp called XXX.
