NAD If Only I Could Plug Her In

Blackstar Artisan 100 Watt Head, got it last Wednesday. Sadly I can't plug her in . But It's my first tube amp and I saved up all summer for it, found it used on GC got all my savings on debit and bought it for $899.99, they go for $2,299.99 New. After picking my jaw up off the floor I called the GC that had it (Sacramento) asked why the price was so low, the saleswoman said it was just sitting there. Sadly I'm still putting my first serious rig together and have yet to buy a 4x12 cab so if anyone is selling or knows of any good deals HMU.

Yeah I couldn't believe it, GC isn't as bad as people claim it is.

Seems like a pretty good deal. Have you made sure it works at least? If not, I'd take it to GC and test it out atleast to make sure and to see how you like it also.

Aweseom amp. Get One of the old peavey 412ms cabs on GC used site. They go for about 100 used and have celestion g12k85 speakers in it which are great speakers. Very massive sounding cab

feel your pain. when I got my mesa head the cab was out of stock for a week and i had nothing to use

I ended up hassleing the dude who owns the rehersal studio we play at to give me a couple hours cheap when a room was free and a cab so I could hit it up in that week

Very nice! Classy color. You should write up a quick review of it when you get a cab. Also, you should get the same tolex if you can and make the cab match the head! That would be ....ing awesome!

Played with a guy last weekend with one of these. Great sounding heads Also, the matching 4x12 felt about 3/4 the weight of my Peavey XXX 4x12. (< Those of which are great cabs and can be found for well under $300)
