New Build Day...

So this was a completely different project that was sidelined due to a neck string spacing issue versus the floyd rose spacing. But I solved that when I scored a Schecter Omen 26.5" Scale. Yes, it is 26.5" I checked!

I wouldn't call this a great quality build or anything, but the bottom line is it plays awesome and has really good balance. Just thought I would share my year and a half adventure. I am not so good at progress pics as you can see

It looks pretty boss, especially like the headstock.
Is that k7 a FSB with fake binding or is that a black one with binding?

And yeah, my K7 has faux binding and it is a Firespeak Blue one.

Update:

More detailed shot of the neck joint. I rounded the lower corner some, and since it was originally for a 6 string it is narrow compared to the neck. Really good for the upper register.

Those are chrome decals on the finished surface. I wanted it to be within the clearcoat but I knew from previous trials that this wouldn't turn out as well, at least with my cheap methods haha
