You can always crank the mids on the amp if thats the sound you are going for

Greenbacks and Vintage 30s are awesome together, but you might also check out Jensen Jets Electric Lightning, Eminence Tonker, Eminence Swamp Thang, Eminence Cannibus Rex, Selenium 12PW3, B&C 12PE32, WGS Green Beret, WGS Reaper, or WGS Veteran 30.

It really depends on what you feel is missing currently. They all vary quite a bit and there are ridiculous amount of options.

Speakers are just another flavor to your tone, like post eq-ing.

The speaker and the cab that its put in will are a homogeneous affair. There's a lot of research to be done on your part because of the many variables.

Just asking about a 'metal' speaker in general isn't going to get you much help here.

EV's/Eminence Delta Pro12A- pretty flat, clean, clear, big tight bottom, soft yet present top.
Green backs- Great mids, will break up and add some grit, can be light in the low end.
t75's/k100's big tight bottom, slight dip in the mids, can get bright on the top end.
V30's- a lot like the GB, but with more low end, less break up.

Very general, and open to debate.

There are many versions of each of these speakers by a few manufactures. These descriptions will vary from each.

Now matching the right speaker with a cab and your amp, plus your guitar/pu's and so forth can get down right overwhelming. Then you can add in mixing different speakers in the same cab for another variable.
