Ihsahn! especially his second and third album, AngL and After!

Can not like this more! :rep:

For some atmospheric stuff, I'd recommend Solsafir - Otta

Been cranking that one for 3 weeks now!

If you're into electronic ambient music, look up Sundial Aeon. :)

More people need to listen to Anais Mitchell. She's a great contemporary folk artist. Not at all twee. The two albums I'd recommend as an in-road are Xoa and Hadestown. Hadestown has a full band vibe, a bunch of guest musicians (Bon Iver, Ani DiFranco, Greg Brown) and is a concept album, as part of an ongoing project she's had going for years.

Biffy Clyro's older material needs more attention, too.

For electronic music, Hybrid's "I Choose Noise" album is really cool.

For hip-hop weirdness, Astronautalis is excellent. Also if you haven't heard DJ Dangermouse's Grey Album, where have you been? Isaiah Toothtaker has some cool delivery of his rhymes, too.
