Need help cleaning up and repairing a cabinet, any ideas?

Bought this old Line 6 cab and Line 6 Spyder II head for $300. The cab has paint all over the grill, I thought I could get it off but I'm not making any progress. Hooked up a bass guitar with it and I found out that at high volumes you can hear that the speakers are loose and rattling on the inside. The grill does not come off. Not sure what to do for either situation. I thought about spray painting over the grill but I'm afraid that the paint will seep through and damage the speakers.

Any help will be appriciated

the speakers might be rattling because your playing a bass through them. guitar cabs arent meant to produce those kinds of low frequencies, especially at high volumes. try using lighter fluid to remove the paint.

Does the back of the cab open up?
