sorry for starting one of these threads here but im really stuck on trying to find a new amp

im looking for a head that can:
-djent
-get some high gain tones (like CoB)
-get that big amon amarthy sound
-able to handle an 8 string in drop e without sounding all muddy
-decent cleans
-some old thrashy and death metal tones (like metallica megadeth slayer and death)

i think if i can find an amp that can do all of that, i should be able to find my own tone in there somewhere for what im playing.

my only problem is that im trying to spend less then $1000, but im buying used so i still should be able to get something decent (i hope)

so anyone got any ideas?

Laney Ironheart is quite good at metal and djent imo, but for the 7 and 8 string definition i would say you should look into orange, their guitar amps can be used by basses aswell which make them really good for down tuning

you could buy the 6505+ version

also maybe a 3120 i had one of them for a while. the clean channel is nice on them, they have el34's. I found that a boost works alright with the amp, IMO the gain is really clean (compared to a 5150) and fairly articulate...thats just my opinion of course.

also if you can find one a 6534 there was 'high gain' shoot out that featured it

My 5150 has decent cleans, really not that great but really really decent. With just a bias mod and no shitty pre amp tubes (EH i hate them). Myabe my amp is broken haha.

What about the new Egnater Vengeance? It sounds pretty awesome in the vids anyway. $1099 at musician's friend.
