Neko Guitar OF8 NGD incoming

Hello there fellow 8stringers and ERG lovers!

I've been talking too a company called Neko guitars for quite a long time now coz i wanted them to build an 8 string version of their ouroborus headless model which was only available as 7 string version. Until now. The company provides affordable 6-8 stringer kits (most expensive one is 975$ I think) containing a body, neck, hardware and bareknuckle pups if you like, so you can basically build your own guitar with pre crafted parts.

o8 Specs are simple yet effective since it's designed to be ergonomic and light weight:

swamp ash body with African Zebrawood top
5 pcs walnut/maple neck
bolt on neck (5 bolts)
1 volume 1 tone knob
I'm going for 4.0 X-Bars
Strandberg hardware
26,5"-28" multiscale
24 stainless steel jumbo frets

Keep in mind the strandberg bridge design is basically a bunch of separate small ones with their own plates. If you don't put something to conduct across them all it will need a zero fret and it looks like it has just a regular nut which is more work to convert. Strandberg's ground through the zero nut (read it on ola's blog) usually but you could run a strip of wire or copper tape under the plates to make them all grounded.

Looks like a great guitar coming together, that fretboard is killer
