Hey guys. Let me know what you think of these new 7 string Tele builds. One is a chambered korina body, birdseye maple neck, ebony fingerboard. The other is a honduran mahogany body, koa neck, and macacauba fingerboard. 25.5" scale on both.

Wow, I love both of them. I always have a soft spot for Korina, though. If I ever get around to building my own guitar, it'd have to be Korina.

Thank you very much. I love me some Korina as well. I think the top was only 35 dollars at Gilmer wood. I got lucky.

Both of them are gorgeous! I'm totally stealing that design :)

Those look nice, I really like the first one :)

I'm not fond of standard Telecasters at all but 7-string ones with humbuckers (like the ESP ones...) I can dig :p

Looks pretty neat to me, nice simple layout of body wood lines and linings, elegant :agreed:
I miss a pic of the full instrument to see the headstock, and how it all fits together.

I would prefer a more sexy heel for easier access to upper frets - you know, the Tele is pretty neat for solo works too ;)

That black binding along with the natural finish of the bodies looks sweet!

Awesome work!

Awesome. Thanks for the input, guys. The korina one is my favorite as well. I think I may try a contoured heel for the next couple. Perhaps 24 frets as well for the shred guys, if it doesn't mess with the classic vibe too much.
