Price is what they usuallly cost for usa: https://reverb.com/shop/dcgl65?make=schecter&sort=price_with_sale|desc
The Nick Johnston (strat copy) model is $3,499
But, agreed, super expensive.
It'd be cool if Schecter had a line similar to Dingwall's thing of build it in China, then make it immaculate domestically so we had something between custom shop and Diamond series. Given how expensive some of the Diamond series is, though, it probably wouldn't make sense.

Suhr and Framus tried that and I think they still haven’t figured out how to make that business model successful besides dingwall obviously

3.5k is pretty much exactly what I'd expect, buying one of these in really good condition on Reverb after they've been out for a while for like 2.5k is much more appealing to than rushing to buy one new. Aaron really knows how to spec out a guitar so I'm sure these are gonna be really fucking awesome, I prefer the orange color for his seven to this bluish green for the six - both look great to me though.

With import prices going up there, I wouldn't expect much less for a USA custom instrument

It’s a great price for the quality. The fretwork is probably one of the best. Customer service is also excellent. I’d take it over ebmm and suhr.

3.4k. Far too much, I'd have expected 1.5k plus hardcase and a bag of sausages AND a used prestige.

Might just be how much/little attention I pay to it all, but it felt like the CS sig model had a lot of buildup whereas the import model was just shat out on us suddenly. I'm curious if that was deliberate and for what reason.

Also, where's the pink/coral 7 string 😤

I don't find that price out of line at all. As someone who owns Schecter custom shop guitars, both USA and the USA Masterworks,
that price is fair. Many USA custom shop guitars have been 3k-3.5k since 2017 up at DCGL. I usually go by and play most of them as well as the G&L and ESP custom shop guitars there. Just because it doesn't have a flashy paint job does not mean the guitar is not built to the highest standards.

I can tell you all of these shops are way backed up with orders. Materials are up, but more importantly good skilled labor is DOWN. We are seeing it in every industry, especially the trades. That contributes to the increase. If that is 10% over the last 3 years, a 3k guitar is now 3300. Normal and expected.

That said, vs. a similar USA ESP Mii, it is about 1k cheaper. I still contend Schecter USA is the best bang for your $$$ and imho a better end product than it's competition.
