Fucking SWEET dude

I remember them talking about trying to (dont quote me) "reinvent" metalcore on their next album. This is definitely a different take from most of the same metalcore crap coming out these days....and I love it. Also fairly different from their musical styling aswell.

Thanks for posting this :hbang:

Terrible tone, cool song. I see they decided to take a slightly more thrash approach for the guitars. I wish they'd stop using Kranks, though.

Yeah, As I Lay Dying is fucking awesome! :scream:

I first heard of them in 2002 or abouts, ever since I first heard their first song I was hooked. :shred:

Good music, all around.

I've already heard this, and I think they sound like Trivium now. :/

I wasn't impressed either. They sound more generic to me now.

AILD never really stood out to me, but I still dig them and will probably pick this album up for some good cruisin / getting pumped music.

Sounds great (once the mighty 'myspace' :noway: finally painted it). Very fierce!

I notice a strong Fear Factory/Slayer influence. This drummers feet are impressive and very pronounced in the mix. Raymond (FF) should be proud.

Personally, I never noticed any kind of influence.

I always thought As I Lay Dying was pretty damn fresh.

They stood out to my ear and IMO are better than the last Cryptopsy record... :hbang:

Oh man I'm pretty sure I've heard the chorus from "An Ocean between us" before. Pretty lame if they stole that... I'm sure it'll come to me soon.
