He just started going to Expressions in Emeryville, a college for Digital and Sound arts, and he was telling me about this kid in one of his classes, and that he had a band and then he linked it to me, and man I was blown away.

The band's name is Nekrogoblikon, and they are unsigned at the moment, and releasing their first album soon (October), and I'm preordering it once my funds are settled. If they had a shirt, I'd buy one right now.

It's basically Viking/Folk Metal, but all about Goblins and Goblin Pirates and stuff.

Here's a link to their Myspace:
http://www.myspace.com/nekrogoblikon

And here's their banner, that I'm adding to my Sig:
<a href="http://www.myspace.com/nekrogoblikon"><img src="http://www.inquestmusic.com/goblins/nekrogoblikon-banner.gif"></a>

I won't say much, I'll just leave the rest to you guys.

Oh yeah, and it looks as if he plays a B.C. Rich 7 String, if you look in the Pics section you can see it.

Let me know what you think.

Edit: hmm the Banner isn't exactly working, I just copied it from their MySpace and added it, if anyone knows how to make it work correctly let me know, hah.

Very very very silly band... The lyrics are particularly ridiculous. A band called Nekrogoblikon with a record called "Goblin Island" on Goblin Records with songs about goblin pirates.

I really like the guitars. A lot of really cool riffs in there. The vocals are okay, but still seem pretty silly. The obsession with goblins and pirates is pretty extreme... The intros to a lot of the songs were pretty sophomorish and I couldn't really imagine them getting signed to a big label as they are now. It just seems like a kind of joke band you might see at a club, but not a band that would be sold in a store.
