So I waited to start this thread so I could include more pictures. Unfortunately there aren't too many, but this is what I got so far:

I'm really happy so far. It's my first custom build and after reading a lot of horror Stories (BRJ etc.) I was a little hesistant. But so far I can't complain. Hapas Guitars has done an amazing job, judging by the looks of it. Robert is a great guy to communicate with and offers a lot of options and opinions. If this continues to be as great as it looks right now, it will most certainly not be the last Hapas I'll get.

A few Edits
I forgot to inlcude this picture. It's a sample of the color it'll be getting:

It's the second from the right or number 4, if you can read the numbers (they are upsidedown).

Also these are the original specs:

ash body
5pc maple/rosewood neck
Ziricote fretboard
27" - 25,5" multiscale
ABM saddles
slanted BKPs (not sure which yet)
24 SS frets

Very nice!
I'm considering Hapas for my next custom as well after seeing this NGD
As soon as I have the money, of course...

This is going to be very interesting when it's finished. Loving the little bits of birds eye all over!

Yeah this one caught my attention as well, although it wasn't the trigger that made me choose him. I guess it was more of a shot in the dark, as I knew little about him.

But for anybody who is interested: Check him out on his FB page.

He had me choose between a few options of top woods, and there where quite the beauties. But this one worked the best with the color.

So here's another progress shot. It's almost finished

Also, Robert told me that it is almost finished. He just waits on Bareknuckle to deliver the PUs and then it'll be ready.

A few days ago he asked me which strings I'd like to have, so imagine it's almost ready. Hopefully I'll get it by next month.

Wow! Among the only Tele's I would ever buy. I love how that pick guard is recessed slightly!
