I like that finish but I wish I could see a real picture of one. Not super excited about active routing either

I think the body shape is nice :) the inlay and that finish totally kill the guitar :wallbash:

DBZ is putting out some sick stuff this year, but this model is not one of them imo.

It looks like they changed the headstocks on nearly all their models. I wonder if the new headstocks are lighter / meant to reduce the neck dive DBZs suffer from. They also are apparently moving away from the V-cut neck that was also a problem with their models.

Well it is better than straight black. Not too thrilled with the head stock...

Because there aren't already too many boring superstrat7-strings with TOM bridges and EMGs to choose from.

They originally killed their superstrat line for exactly that reason. Based on this interview:

Full Speed Ahead: Jeff Diamant Talks About the Future of DBZ Guitars | The Tone King | TheToneKing.com

It sounds like passive routing is available. He talks some about why he brought back their super-strat line, but the explanation doesn't make much sense to me.

Ummm.... fret access is one of those things I don't like to compromise on, and this is just awful. What's the point of having 24 frets if the top two are literally behind the actual body of the guitar?

And this finish is butt nasty. I want to like DBZ, but they haven't put out much that I've been impressed with. The Vs looked cool until I saw the ginormous neck heel.

I see no Goku nor Dragonballs on this guitar.
