I think I've ALWAYS fantasized about owning one of these bad boys, and now I can finally say I own one. As a "going-away" gift of sorts from my parents, I scored a Petrucci-6 BFR in Tobacco Burst!
It's unreal how big of a difference it makes to my playing; the placement of the volume/tone knobs makes a big difference to my right hand placement, and the extreme cut-away makes 24th fret access literally perfect. I guess this is all stuff you've heard/experienced before, but I'm just blown away by this thing! The piezo sounds insane, it looks beautiful... and I could go on for days with the things I like. Anywho, here's some (crappy, blurry) pictures!
