Nice :D

Got all the way to the Godin bag, then realized "Wait...is this guy a Canadian?"

Godin needs to make 7s, btw. I like the feel and sound options of these:

yup :) the shop threw in a bag they had laying around on top of a discount to make it a better deal, along with some strings. pays to have a good relationship with local shops

i agree, they have that grey single hum one here, and if it was a better color i would be all over it

You bought that from musicstop I'm guessing? I played the exact guitar there a weekend ago, didn't quite like.

How much did the SC-207 set you back? I'd love to get one of those as a nice "beater" guitar, but i really don't have a need for it.

(And yes, i know that "need" doesn't really play into GAS in the least.)

Hm... looking at those pics, i just noticed that the back of the neck is painted black, too. How odd. You'd think it'd be easier for them to just give it a quick spray with a satin sealer, but i guess this makes it more consistent with the rest of the SC line.

The Godin Redline looked pretty slick in person... i liked the battery compartment. I'm just puzzled why they didn't put a forearm contour cut on it. Didn't get a chance to plug it in cuz some moron was rifffing very badly on the Roland Cubes that i wanted to try out.

Pretty great bare-bones guitar with a real EMG for very little cash. A 7 of it would be very cool.

yup... la guitar unfortunately doesnt carry esp's so i had to go to them (i greatly preffer la guitare). didnt realize there was another one of us from moncton on here other than nickcorm.

i've been in love with these for ages, and it just played so nicely for me. after i gave it a quick setup, it's just awesome for a rythmn machine.

almost $500 when all was said and done.

yeah, i'm not a fan of painted necks, its the only thing i dont like, but a scotchbrite pad will handle that for now, and a lil sandpaper down the road with tongue oil will finish it off. that and new pups (alteast a new bridge pup)

fun story, those stairs look like a bitch. i'd hate moving in and out of that building

i can actually go thru the landlord's place (he lives below us) for anything big... but it doesnt help for groceries, or lugging gear in and out on band practice days... so glad i aint carrying a 80lbs combo anymore :D
