Didn't see these posted anywhere, or any thing from NAMM about them, but a few people are posting about them now :yum:

*Edit* It might of helped if I spelled prototypes correctly in the title lol

Saw these today and they reminded me heavily of a EBMM JP mixed with an Aristides.

Really interested in these if they're reasonably priced and have decent features like stainless steel frets etc!

I can totally see that, especially with that EB-esque blue.
That all rosewood neck is really doing it for me! :djent:

Yeah these are for the polyphia guys, theres a red one too. I kinda dig em, a little classier than your typical RG. I wish ibanez would do more stuff like this, they've kinda fallen off my radar in the last year or so

Digging the blue. And I thought the SAME thing. Really get a JP vibe from them. If they have a slightly rounder thin-C neck I'm on board.

That neck is awesome! I love how these fancy custom things are trickling down to production instruments. I would love an 8 string in this new spec!

My first thought was all-rosewood neck, but that wouldn't make sense right now because of the CITES thing, right? If that is actually what is it, would be nice to see one in person - a store nearby had a MiA Strat with all-rosewood neck and it was... :yum:

Hmm, I'm on-the-fence. I like the old, pointy RG shape, but definitely curious to see where this goes.

They have a Suhr vibe as well. Similar to the Suhr Standards and Modern Pro models.

I'm not into the rounder headstock tip and the shallow upper cutaway (the same feature I don't get along with on stuff like Suhr), but I do think it's a pretty cool looking thing overall.

Saw that Eric from Chon has one too

I was about to say, if these are going to Polyphia something just as cool, if not cooler, better be going to the CHON homies.

I really like that red one. Definitely getting some Suhr Modern vibes from that one.

I do wish theyd keep the regular \m/ headstock shape though. This looks like it'd fit the FR shape better.

That bridge looks very cool, it's not a current offering is it? Just judging from the rear design, not versed in 2point traditional trem options.

they look like vigiers a little bit.
i like em, but i agree with TedEH, if these are rosewood neck it sounds like an unnecessary headache with all the CITES stuff.
