That bridge looks very cool, it's not a current offering is it? Just judging from the rear design, not versed in 2point traditional trem options.

I think its really cool too. I'm not a trem guy but it looks like its floating. Erick Hansel from CHON has an instagram vid playing it and he throws some flutters in there.

I feel the GAS coming on this... and I've always been a fixed bridge guy!

These look so good, I love the blue. I hope they don't screw it up and make them Premiums.

I'd like to see one with a neck single coil and bridge humbucker. I'd be right on that.

Definitely cool looking!
The trem looks like a new design, if I'm not mistaken.
Hate the large knobs though.

well the Polyphia guys used to play JPs, so maybe thats why the inspiration came from

I think these suit better to them than a normal RG.

Pretty cool to see Ibanez doing something more classy

These sort of remind me of the old ProLine Roadstars of the 80s. I like it. :yesway:

The early entry level RGs had this at least into the 90es, as my RG140 didn't have the pointy horns but wasn't labeled "Roadstar" any longer and had the typical Ibby headstock. (Mine wasn't pink, I suspect that's a refinish)

Just PLEASE put the standard Ibanez headstock on them! The rest looks pretty perfect, it the neck is thicker than a wizard I'll probably need to get one of these!

Wishlist/predictions:

basswood or alder body
roasted maple neck
jumbo stainless steel frets
thicker neck/new shape
pickups something other than Dimarzio, maybe some of Bare Knuckles non metal types
Prestige level (the important one)

With this shape it seems like maybe they are going more towards the "fusion" crowd, which tends to favor guitars of higher quality and price tags (Suhr, Tom Anderson). So I'm hoping that they kind go after some of that business with making this a high level (not Premium) guitar. That would definitely make it hard for me to not get one.

Ibanez rips literally every high-end/boutique super strat maker off at the same time?

(might be cool)
