New melodic riffage + a tad of brootz

Started jamming on these riffs this morning to put towards a new song and figured I'd put them up for your listening pleasure and of course critique. Would like to know what you guys would do differently to this mix to make it sound better. I know it's just "not quite there yet" when talking about the mix.

The recording is a mix of melodic, almost poppy riffs with a few slides a-la Safety Fire and then some heavy stuff near the end.

I take it you used an AXE FX for the guitars? and SD2.0 for drums?

That would be correct. I'm still overwhelmed with the axe fx. So many possibilities.
