New Mesa 2x12 Recto Vertical (Poll: Does this stack have a name?)

I snagged a deal on a Mesa 2x12 vertical last weekend, so now have it hooked up and it sounds killer. It's a bit different than the Road King 2x12, but still epic.

But, since I have them stacked, is it a 3/4 stack?

A full stack is typically 2x stacked 4x12 cabs.
A half stack is a 4x12 with a head.
A quarter stack is a 2x12 horizontal with a head.
A short stack is 2x 2x12 horizontal cabs stacked with a head.

A 3/4 stack is usually a 4x12 on a 2x12 (horizontal) or vice versa. This setup has the height of a 3/4 stack, but only four speakers. So, what is it?

The flip side of the room has my bass rig... which leads to another stack conundrum. I have a Mesa 2x10 Subway, 1x12 Subway, and DarkGlass 900 v2. So it is yet another stack of undetermined classification.

Two 212s as in pic 3 is still a half stack. Same size as a 412 cab.

Vert 212 on horizontal 212 would make me turn the vert on its side

Why's there an armadillo on top??

Mesa/Boogie had some old print ads with a taxidermy armadillo on Recto amps & cabs. I think it was a bit of a mascot for them for a while. It's really hard to find images of said ads, though Mesa still uses armadillos in some of their amp descriptions.

Semi unrelated but I feel it's kinda part of this thread, obviously no shade at @Grindspine as this seems to be a living room rig of assembled gear, but I see some touring bands doing the stacked 212 thing, and to me it makes no sense? Granted, I've never toured this way nor played a stacked 212 rig for more than a few minutes, so not sure if the sound is different but for a touring rig, loading and stacking 2 212s to essentially just have a 412 seems...laborious. Id rather move 90-100lbs once than 60 pounds twice, personally. Am I wrong?

I'm in the same boat as you but I've known multiple people who use two 4x10s instead of a fridge specifically because to them it's easier to carry.

I don't believe in bob but I'm embarrassed to say that there was a period in my life when I balanced a 50 watt head at a slant angle off a small 1x12. I brought shame to myself, my family, my neighbors, and any nearby small animal.
