Just made a post about this in the most recent Opeth thread. I'm IMMENSELY excited. In most recent live shows they've been playing, people were speculating he may be introducing growls on the new record judging by the fact they strictly played old stuff - basically all growls, no new songs, and Mikael's seemed to be sounding better than usual. Guess this is why!

Hell yeah! Gotta hear it a few more times before I can say if the song's actually any good, but the growls are awesome and seems like they've dropped the vintage tones in favor of tighter metal guitar tone. Which is awesome.
