It's a cover of "recreant" by Chelsea Grin.
Guitars: PodXT (+Mesa impulses)
Drums: MF/Avatar
Bass: Logic AU
Mixing and Mastering in Logic 9 + Ozone 3

Some parts are still missing and the guitars aren't very tight (will be re-recorded with new strings). Vocals will come soon!

I feel like the guitar tone is pretty solid, just the playing needs to be tighter. also, the kick doesn't stick out at all like it should, and the same with the toms and snare.

The guitar tone is sweet but it's overpowering the drums pretty hard.

What pickups are you using in conjunction with which pod patch/amp model?

It's my old RG7321 with Blackouts
On the pod I use my big bottom patch (+ tubescreamer).

Bring the guitars down and compress them a bit. i think if you do that it will sound pimpin. if you got a minute would you mind checking out my bands stuff too? Good cover btdub.

The bass drum sounds a bit too woofy IMO. Pull the lower frequencies in a touch and boost a little around the 2-4khz mark for clickyness. Good stuff though.
