why do I never get any large number of crits on my recordings anymore? do people just hate soundclick or something?

Some nice riffing there. Perhaps a bit too much gain for my taste. There's definitely room for vocals, are you planning to add that?

no it's an instrumental I wrote before I was even a vocalist lol. I am in the middle of writing a vocal song anyway so I will post that when i record it.

It seems that if the thread's title does not involve the words "brutal" or "Meshugga" it's not worth to be opened...anyway, good song! You should really add some vocals!

hahaha, i think you forgot "Bulb," "Axe fx," and "djent" (in any form of the word)

okay, as for the song, drums sound 80's and the tune sounds 80's meets early 90's...both good years! i would smack your snare a bit more and bring down the hats, but dude, if this is what your going for it sounds good as is! i also dig the lead work :yesway:

Productionwise: I agree with Slampop: Volume of the Hats down a little.

Guitarwise: Nice riffing, good rhythm sound.
The lead sound at 1:38 is a little too "raw" for my taste. I don't know why. The sound of the other lead passages is cool. Tasty leads!
Being a huge fan of the Gothenburg-sound I very much like the twin guitar action starting at 2:35.

Me demands more!

Which recording equipment did you use?

I'd like to listen to this song with a better snare and kick, and of course the cymbals a little lower...
music wise is not my cup of tea, but it is very well executed! congrats.

i dig this - its classic metal - and you have a nice big open guitar sound going on
the drums could do with some work for sure - but thats not too hard i guess
nice work!
