This is my first post, but today I acquired a "Greiner/Kilmer" Custom Snare. The company relatively new and is run by Matt Greiner (August Burns Red) and Kaleb Kilmer out of Central PA. The model I got is the Matt Greiner Signature, and its serial #008, so outta the first batch. These retail for $700+ but today some moron brought it in and sold it for $100! That's ridiculous so I scoooped it up and am happy to call it mine. It features a custom "Matt Greiner" signature wood burned on the side and signature on the inside of the shell. The shell is cherry/maple with walnut inlays, let me know what you think!

Fucking nice. It's about time that Matt Greiner started designing drums.

Yeah dude look em up on Facebook, its under "Greiner&Kilmer Customs". This drum is freaking sweet, I wanted one for the longest time, but $700 was too pricey, and this magically showed up in my GC for $200 lol

Forgot the specs lol: 14x6.5" Cherry/Maple shells with walnut inlays, it has "Matt Greiner Mt 6:33" woodburned into the side, . 45 degree edges, between 3/8 and 5/8" thick. 10-lug die-cast hoops, single point lugs, ego (Trick style) throw off, Puresound blaster snare wires, Custom Badge from JM Smith Custom Drumworks, comes with hazy 300 snare side head, and Evans Hybrid batter head.

would be cooler if Val Kilmer was making these
and not a fan of Matt Greiner at all, but its a nice snare

that price is typical of custom companies.
ugh, market is over-saturated with that crap

The snare is actually one of the better snares i've played in a while. Def blows my 200 dollar snare out of the water. very deep sounding and punchy. it's all opinion though..

Actually these are made out of Keller Shells ie:(Same as Truth Drums), and in my opinion its about to the same standards and plays exceptionally well.
