So it's been a while since I last posted, but here is my latest offering which I've called 'Sloppy Chops'. There were a lot of position shifts which caught me out a lot, hence the name. I've tried to genre hop as much as I could so expect a little bit of variety. And I'm afraid that I've probably ripped off the mellow bit of 'Insomnia' by Periphery. But screw it, I did it anyway.

Anyway, comments and critiques on anything and everything would be nice, particularly the guitar tone, arrangement and mix. Oh, and also whether my perceived rip off is as blatant as I think it is.

Your playing is very tight ,You shoudl buy SD your stuff would sound so much more powerful,you have great writing skills man...keep going in that direction . Tought, you should do your riffs less repetitive like put some unique notes that you ear just once in the song , still i could listen to that all day lond:D http://www.thefreedictionary.com/repeatedly

I think that the song is very flowing smooth .Your mix is nice too,
I would compress a lil more the kick and eq it a lil more!

Do you do that all by yourself?
Anyway Nice song in general very tight playing , I like!

@7mic7: I'm hoping to get Superior at some point in the future but being a broke university student means that eating comes before drum vsti's, as awesome as Superior is. Also, yes, everthing is done by me and by everything I mean guitar, bass, drum programming and mixing.

Thanks for the comments! I may use the 'unique notes' idea in the future to mix things up as well :)

@prh: Cheers bro! Appreciate it!

Anymore feedback would be welcome guys! Feel free to post away! :)
