There may not be a figured top, but it's not as if they just found some scrap bits of wood laying around the shop. The hardware is top notch too; Hipshot tuners, Gotoh bridge, stainless frets and Suhr pickups.

$1,200? Get real. The Indo-made Premium Ibanez with the pot-metal trems go for $1,000. This is easily worth double that.

Its ok, read that guys previous posts in the Ed Roman thread, enough said

When did saying guitars are overpriced turn into a bad thing. If these go for over 2 grand it is a rip off, just like 90% of the guitars for sale. I see Esp ltd ec 1000 selling for $1400 and another person has it for $850. Something is wrong here folks, lets blame Ed Roman, oh no, he is dead, lets blame him anyway.

Since everything Suhr does is -imo- in another league, those will probably be surreal as well :D love the colors!

You see guitars going for that price because you're in Australia.

I think with a Maple or Ebony (I love me some contrast) boards that I would play the shit out of the Yellow and Green ones.

With the quality and consistency (and yes, that absolutely is something you pay for) that comes out of Shur I fully expect these to cost AT LEAST $2250USD. I could easily see $2500.

I'm very mad at Suhr. I want to order a Modern 7 but every week a new stunning finish comes out, yet they still don't have a complete finish list on their website, just new "Guitars of the Week" coming out...doesn't help my final choice at all

Matt told me they are coming in at $2650. Not bad. Ordered a Sea Foam one from him, expected delivery 1st quarter of 2013.

I REALLY want a suhr but I don't have the funds or the will to choose a finish haha. I think I need to win the lotto so I can buy a suhr for every finish. Btw you know if they stopped selling the guthrie model since he's apparently with charvel now?

I... don't get this one, to be honest. I'm fine with colors and all, but... the finish itself makes them look plastic. As much as I want the light-blue-est light blue guitar ever, I think for $2600 I'd like some nice wood to look at.

These have been on my mind since I saw them. They should extend the spectrum and make a red one and maybe purple too :) The way the colors are bright but flat is visually appealing. I think you could have even more fun with the looks by getting some pickups with brightly colored plastic bobbins. Even changing pick color can give you some nice contrasts.
